Springtime Shawl

The Springtime Shawl is completed and blocked. It was knitted with Jaggerspun Zephyr in Marine Blue, size 3 needles. Pattern is from Marianne Kinzel's First Book of Modern Lace knitting. The shawl is blocked to 53" on each edge, and could have been blocked harder. I need to buy blocking wires so I'll have an easier time with these straight edges.

I bought that same book with the idea that I could use some of the patterns for shawls! I'm glad to see that it works so well. Beautiful!!!

OMG! Just stunning. I am so getting into lace lately and have only done some easy projects, but have purchased plenty of lace weight to do things like this. I can't wait, thanks for the inspiration.
